This song rocks, and the man's a fuckin' genius when it comes to lyrics.

I love Morrissey!! I wanna go to lalapalooza to see him. If you have not seen the movie, "My life with Morrissey," I suggest you rent it soon!

I see that this is an old thread, but I can't resist.
I absolutely love Morrissey. If I had to pick one favorite band, it would probably be The Smiths. Morrissey's solo stuff isn't as strong overall, I don't think, but he's still writing some amazing lyrics. I went to New York with some friends to see him at the Apollo on May 8th, and it was an incredible experience. He can put on a really great show.
That link made me giggle with giddiness. "First of the Gang to Die" is my favorite song off of You are the Quarry.

The last night was the 8th! Funny that, we were at the same show. It really was fantastic. He played some of his best songs, I think ("Everyday is like Sunday," "Hairdresser on Fire," "Jack the Ripper..."). And to close with "There is a Light that Never Goes Out..." amazing.
And to see him at the Apollo... such a great experience.

That was an awesome show! I had such a good time, there was so much energy and excitement. Everyone there really wanted to be there and it really showed in the way the crowd responded to him.
"Morrissey is god, if god was a gay British man"
